I've been practicing coloring some CLAMP manga pages lately, and then it eventually occurred to me that if I can colorize manga pages, and make pencil drawings, perhaps I don't need the middle man.
Anyway, this was supposed to be Azula from Avatar as the Sun Spirit, inspired by the fate of Princess Yue on the same show. She doesn't look too much like Azula though, and certainly doesn't have an Azula-ish expression. I liked the way she looked though, and didn't want to change her. It was fun to abuse the heck out of the smudge tool on her "artfully torn" dress. Yeah, did I mention reading CLAMP mangas? That should explain what's going on with her hair. |
