The Face Sealing Monster Koh, and the Bored assassin Mai from Avatar: The Last Airbender (character rights belong to Nickolodeon, etc. etc.)
What brings those two together? Perhaps Mai is seeking spiritual advice on how to suck less as a character.
At least Mai is pretty straight forward to draw and has a cool outfit. Most fan-sites describe Koh as a "giant millipede". Having looked at a large variety of arthropods (online; I get the willies when I'm near them in real-life), I'm here to say he looks as much as a giant lobster as he does a millipede. A centipede maybe.
I would have never said Millipede. Centipede, if not something even creepier. Spraying cyanide all over the place, the lousy ingrates . . .
Oh, and I'm FLIPPING OUT over this one. I hadn't been entirely impressed with any single piece of yours so far (there have been impressive pieces of pieces), but this one just smacks me in the face with a gold brick (with a lemon wedge wrapped around it).
My one complaint is that it is relatively small. The details are hard to make out. I don't know if it is even possible for you to increase the size of the image, so I won't even request it. Stellar piece otherwise.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

You will NOT insult the awesomeness that is Mai!!!
But it COULD go on a while....I'd love to see Mai playing poker....
Koh would probably end up ripping his own face off in frustration before he got Mai's. XD

"Put an apple on your head, and we'll find out how good I am!"
When Toph punches Aang, it's called chemistry; when Mai teases Zuko, it's called insensitivity.
The paper and lead version is only slightly bigger - I didn't think it looked good any larger.
