Well, Avatar returned for it's swan song this week. The second biggest problem with season 3 is the crazy schedule breaks.
The biggest problem is the writing.
It's not good.
Not good at all.


It's a pity they kept referencing The Blue Spirit in the last few episodes. That seems now like an episode from another show with completely different characters.
An infinitely better show. :(

Ah - makes sense - "Geomancer"... even without knowing the definition, it just sounds cool. The aesthetics of the word are fantastic. Knowing what it means makes it that much more interesting. Nice.

A geomancer is some sort of spiritual expert who can tell by the lay of the land the way the spirits are disposed in the area. So you'd want to consult a geomancer before say, building a pyramid, constructing a Shinto temple, or erecting a menhir.

I do not necessarily believe in all this, I just liked the concept enough for the word to stick in my mind.
